Changing Genres

In groups of 2 or 3, choose a scene from the novel to rewrite slightly to fit into a different genre (for example, create a romantic atmosphere between Anita and Jean-Claude, excluding the paranormal aspect of the novel). Enact your scene for the class.

Time to Mime

In groups of 3 or 4, choose an action scene (i.e. the events at the caves or the battle at the Circus of the Damned) and silently act it out. Your classmates will guess which scene you have chosen.

Poetry of the Damned

Pick a character, and write a poem from them to another character, telling how you feel about their actions during the battle between Jean-Claude and Mr. Oliver at the Circus of the Damned.
