Objective
The book is based on the experiences of the author's mother. The author is enthralled by her mother's stories and she and her mother agree that much knowledge can be gained by telling the mother's history. The objective of this lesson is to examine the topic of family history and why the author and her mother feel that their history could help people, as well as why people keep track of family history, in general.
