So-called "compulsion" spells - those that force people to tell the truth, or to do something against their will - are restricted and advanced. When Simon accidentally casts on on Agatha, he immediately revokes it, but the damage has been done to their relationship (140). Write an essay analyzing what message Rowell is trying to send to the reader within this scene.
