1) Discussion: What is meant by personal aesthetic? Did he influence only theatre? What is this work meant to show?
2) Journal: What does the editor think people often assume about Brecht's theories? Why is this book an example of showing that this is not the case?
3) Comparisons: What happens from the embryo of an idea to the final product? How is this presented in the book? How is it shown that Brecht's thought process is an example of this sort of progression?
4) Group Discussion: Why did the editors go to so much trouble to preserve the integrity of Brecht's works? Who did they consult? Why?
