· Braiding Sweetgrass is a nonfiction book by Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental and Forest Biology and Director for the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment, Robin Wall Kimmerer.
· In this book, Kimmerer’s first-person narrative weaves together scientific knowledge and indigenous wisdom, examining our environment through multiple lenses and offering hope for a spiritual connection to the world around us.
· The book is divided into five sections based on the process of her Potawatomi tradition of braiding sweetgrass.
