Secret Language

Create a language of your own to emulate what Daniel Tammet did. Write a short list of the vocabulary words in your language with their definitions. Explain how you chose those words. Name your language.

Poetry

Put yourself in Daniel's place when he was a child in school and create a poem to describe his feelings. Include his loneliness and desire for friends in your poem. Your poem may be written in any style.

Read the fictional book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" as a companion piece to Born on a Blue Day. Consider the similarities between Daniel and the main character in the book. Decide which book would make a better film.
