The soldiers in the book expressed many different viewpoints concerning the Vietnam War. Compare and contrast how the different soldiers viewed the Vietnam war and what they would have done differently if they had been in charge. Use examples from "Bloods."

Argue whether the training that the soldiers received did or did not affect the way that they viewed and treated the Vietnamese. Use examples from the book to support your position.
