Spelling Bee

All the students should write five words from the book they don't know on five small separate pieces of paper and put the paper into a hat. The students should then stand in a line in front of the class. The teacher has to pick a word from the hat and ask the student at the front of the line to spell it. If he or she gets it wrong they have to sit back down. If they get right they go back to the back of the line for the next round. The last standing student wins the game.

Making Things Beautiful.

In threes, go around the school finding discarded items that you think could be arranged with other things to look beautiful. Take your items back to the class and arrange together them in a way that highlights their beauty.
