Lesson 1 (from Chapter 1)
Objective
A large portion of what makes a person is their relationships with others. Understanding Paul's relationships with the people in his childhood will help explain who the adult Paul becomes. The objective is to analyze Paul's relationships with his family and childhood friends.
Lesson
1- Make a concept map of Paul and the people in his life from Chapter 1. (Add to this map as new people enter Paul's life throughout the autobiography). Place Paul at the center and connect him to people with a line extending from his name. One example will have Paul at the center with a line extending to the left. From there, three branches will extend from that left line. At the end of each line is a family member's name.
