Name that archetype

Play a game. Present students with names of historical figures, and let them name the dominant archetype of each. For instance, Joan of Arc could easily be labeled as a Warrior, Winston Churchill as a ruler, etc.

The 13th Archetype

Invent another archetype -- one that might have been omitted. What would it be? How would it relate to the others? Where would it fit in the journey of life?

Stereotype Images

Create a portfolio of art or images collected that represent various stereotypes. Share it with the class when complete.

Archetype for a day

Select an archetype totally unlike you, and be that archetype for the day. If you feel like you are typically a caregiver, be a warrior for a day . . . at least during class. Let your classmates guess which archetype you adopted for the day.
