Objective
Even as Shakur was injured and barely conscious, state troopers pulled her out of the car and threatened her. At the hospital she was interrogated and not allowed to see her lawyer. Law enforcement had decided that Shakur was guilty. The objective of this lesson is to discuss rights of individuals accused of a crime and how Shakur's rights were ignored.
