· In Part 1, Chapter 1, Pip keeps seeing dead eyes staring at her, even when she looks at a dead pigeon in her driveway.
· She goes with her father to meet Roger Turner, her lawyer and a man her father works with.
· They are attending a mediation with Max Hastings, his lawyer, and a mediator.
· In Chapter 2, in the meeting room, Pip comes face-to-face with Max Hastings.
· Earlier she had learned that he was a serial rapist and had recorded him admitting to using Rohypnol to drug and rape young girls at parties.
· When Max Hastings went to trial for the charges, he was found innocent.
· In retaliation, Pip had vandalized his house and released the recording of him on Twitter.
