Latin

The pope and all the cardinals speak proficient Latin. each the students some Latin and have them try and hold simple conversations using it.

House Titles

All the great houses and churches in this book have specific names and titles. Have all the students bring pictures of their house and find a suitable name for their own home. Allow each student to present their homes and titles.

Conclave

The Conclave has a special ritual of burning paper to choose a leader. Get a video of the most recent Conclave held where the smoke rises from the Sistine Chapel and have the students write about the reaction from the crowd when this happens.

Element Art
