Objective
The objective of today's lesson is to explore the author's background and examine how knowledge of the author might affect how students read the book.
Dana Schwartz is the author. She worked as an intern for Conan O' Brien and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She hosts a podcast called Noble Blood, which is a show about the dark side of historical monarchies. She was a staff writer for She-Hulk, which is a marvel television series, as well as co-writing the movie Bring it On: Halloween. Dana Schwartz is a writer who writes for a contemporary audience and has an eye for cinematic tropes and style.
