• Sitting in the front pew are the host and hostess, Father James Carroll's parents, Lieutenant-General and Mrs. Joseph F. Carroll, Joe and Mary; Joe is founding director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in charge of enemy counts and evaluating targets in Vietnam.
• Celebration begins with the organ playing, the choir singing a hymn and a procession of priests and lay assistants, as well as the author, the newly-ordained priest.
