Identity Crisis Game
• Divide the students into four groups, signifying the four parts of the book. Group One / Part One makes a paper tag with the name of each character in that section, folding it so the name is not visible. Each group does the same.
• All paper slips are put into a basket and mixed up.
• Each person in the class draws a slip and without divulging the name on the slip, pins or tapes it to the back of the person in front of them. (The person having the name attached to their back should NOT know who it is.)
• Each person has a name attached to his/her back.
• Find a partner. The teacher can choose to have the pairs come to the front of the class, or the entire class can walk around the room, finding partners.
