Objective
The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the authors' background and personal interest in the subject matter reflected in the novel. Jennifer Niven is an American author best known for her young adult literature. Niven has also worked as a journalist, screenwriter, and an associate producer at ABC Television. Niven's novel, All the Bright Places, will be adapted into a Netflix film and will be available for streaming in 2020.
