Objective
The objective of this lesson is to examine Sunny's appearance, and what is revealed about being albino. Although Sunny is racially African, her skin and hair are light-colored. She is an albino.

Class Discussion: What African features does Sunny have? What color skin do her family members have? What color is Sunny's skin? What color is her hair, and what color hair do her family members have? Why is Sunny an albino? What issues does she have with the sun because of her albinism? Why can she not play soccer in the daytime? What other issues does she have because of her albinism? What is revealed about being albino?
Activity: Divide the students into small groups. Have each group discuss how classmates treat Sunny because of her albinism. Why is Sunny taunted? What racial slurs does she have to endure? What does Chichi say about...
