See about obtaining a copy of the 1983 television adaptation of Accidental Death of an Anarchist produced by Thames Television for the BBC. This adaptation, as discussed in the lessons, reflects the politics of Margaret Thatcher's England. Ask students to discuss the differences of the two versions.
Adaptation Research
Give students time inside or out of class to see about obtaining different versions of the play. As discussed in the final lessons, the play has been re-translated with Fo's permission and assistance, to reflect contemporary, localized political climates. How do the different versions compare?
