This activity has each student explore an event that takes place in the book. Students then adopt the roles of "broadcast journalists" and deliver reports.
Dots and Boxes
This activity is drawn from a paper game and expanded onto an empty grid of dots equally spaced on the front board. Teams respond in sequence to questions related to "A Time to Kill." When correct, they draw a line between two dots horizontally or vertically. When completing a square, they mark it and take another turn. When all squares are complete, the team with the most wins.
