Sacrifices
Student instructions: Write a long-term goal you want to achieve in your life. Then write five obstacles or sacrifices you need to make in order to achieve your long-term goal.
Teachers instructions: Pair up the students and have them compare each other's obstacles/sacrifices. Consider if you are willing to sacrifice the same or face the same obstacles. What do these obstacles/ sacrifices say about the goal? The person?
Rig a pulley
Separate into groups of three to five. Using rope, carabiners, and a rod attempt to rig your own pulley system. You may utilize your desk, chairs, and whatever you personally have with you.
