Yuan's Poetry

Imagine that you are Yuan and have just escaped to the countryside, where you enjoy writing in solitude. Write a poem that you think Yuan would write. Give a presentation to the class that includes your reasoning behind the poem. What does the poem symbolize to Yuan? What is it about, and why did you choose that particular theme?

Yuan and Ai-lan's Differences

Though they are siblings, Yuan and Ai-lan are very different. Draw or collage a representation of both characters, whether it be a portrait or a drawing of the type of spirit they have.
