Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss the point of view of in the Prologue through Chapter 5, and how Maas's choice of viewpoint affects the story. Maas switches focal characters as she tells the story from a third-person limited viewpoint. What readers know about events and characters is determined by the point of view in a book.
