Critic for a Day
In order to become a critical reader, students should learn how to examine works of literature. Students should post a critique on a website. Students should give the teacher a link to the review or print their review and bring it in for the class.
Interviews
Find interviews online from people during the Holocaust, including information on what they endured in concentration camps and refugee camps. Try to find one person whose story truly speaks to you and share their information with your class.
Trivia
Create 20-30 trivia questions and answers in small groups. Pair up with another group and ask them the questions that you created based on the book.
