As long as conflict in Bosnia continues, no one can escape its terrible consequences. The people have tried to make their lives as normal as possible. Still, death and despair have become everyday events. Despite increased world involvement, many Bosnians are unable to believe that the hostilities will ever end.
"I used to have hope, but I can no longer believe we will be saved," said Rosa Tutundzic of Sarajevo. "It will just go on until we are dead."
