Robert Nigh

After all the evidence had been presented to the jury in the McVeigh trial, the prosecuting and defense attorneys gave their closing arguments, in which they reviewed the evidence that had been presented. Because the prosecution bore the burden of proving that Timothy McVeigh committed the crime, the prosecution presented its closing statement first, followed by the defense's closing argument.

Robert Nigh was one of the attorneys defending McVeigh and he presented a portion of the defense's closing statement. He tried to show that the prosecution did not meet its burden of proving that McVeigh committed the bombing.
