The Hitler Youth organization influenced the lives of all members. The majority of these boys and girls had other influences as well, including parents and school. However, there were times and places where the National Socialists took over the complete education and even the parenting of youngsters. This occurred in a variety of boarding schools that were established by the Nazi state and/or the Hitler Youth. In these schools youngsters lived, breathed, and embodied Nazi ideology without parental influence or interference.
