The 28 March 1914 issue of the IWW magazine Solidarity printed a poem by James P. Hayes. Addressed to "Mr. Sky Pilot," the poem summed up the Wobblies' attack on the complacency of the Christian churches.
They Have Not Where to Lay Their Head
When you've lauded all the captains
who rule the ship of might,
