Description
Harry Caul is a securities specialist who has become famous in the industry for his success in many cases. We first meet him when he leads a case to record a conversation in the middle of a square. The job is especially difficult, but he is being paid a large sum of money and is able to catch all of the conversation.
While Harry tries to get the ambient noise out of the recording later, he begins to listen to and try to decipher the conversation. Harry is obsessive about many things, and he becomes totally focused on the recording. Finally, he thinks he has figured out the meaning and believes that the Director is going to kill the couple.
