Some Like It Hot begins as the audience sees two men riding in the back of a hearse sitting beside the casket. Two men drive the car, and they all look concerned when they see a cop car with sirens blaring following them. As they continue driving, the police begin shooting, and the guys in the back of the car shoot back. The casket begins leaking after being shot, and the audience sees that it's full of alcohol, which begins to pour out of the car.
On the screen comes a posting: Chicago, 1929, the setting of the film. Since the film is set in the middle of prohibition, the mob is extremely involved in trying to make money by selling alcohol and throwing huge drinking parties.
