Frank's Prayers
Frank spends all his time praying so that he can feel better about his sins. He believes that he is in trouble with God because of his affair with Margaret. Frank also worries about the problems of everyone else in M*A*S*H and spends his time praying for them as well.
Most of the people in M*A*S*H make fun of Frank. He drives them crazy with his incessant praying and Bible reading. Although they mock him, Frank remains true to his habits and beliefs.
Throughout the film, Frank's prayers help tell the story. His affairs with Margaret are followed by prayers. When he hears the men talking about their escapades, he prays for them as well.
