Kill Bill v2 was the continuation of Tarantino's homage to the kung fu genre which he had grew up with. The fight sequences were well choreographed by two kung fu Masters with different style in order to have creative, fantasy fight sequences such as those in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and more realistic fight sequences for which Gordon Liu was known in his countless movie credits.
The movie had elaborate fight sequences which including both hand to hand combat as well as swordsmanship. The soundtrack for the fight sequences was reminiscent of the soundtrack of many kung fu movies of the 1960's and 70's.
