Falling in Love with Life

After Frankie's death, Johnny and Sarah stopped their lives. They cannot seem to get beyond his death, and they neglect their daughters to some extent because of their preoccupation with his death.

When the family meets Mateo, he loves spending time with their family. While Johnny is gone all the time, Mateo is constantly spending time with Sarah and the girls. Johnny becomes jealous and accuses Mateo of being in love with Sarah, but Mateo responds that he is in love with life. Johnny realizes that Mateo is dying.

Mateo teaches viewers about the love of life that all people need to live happy, successful lives. Johnny and Sarah finally learn that although their son's death was tragic, they can move on with their lives for the sake of their children.
