The Newsroom
Everything comes back to the newsroom. Hildy has finally decided to leave the newsroom for good. She is tired of coming second in Walter's life, and she wants to settle down and start a family at last. She realizes that Walter will never slow down, and she leaves him for a more down-to-earth guy named Bruce.
When Walter decides to get Hildy back, he realizes there is only one way to do it. She has forgotten her love of reporting, so he reminds her by convincing her to return to the newsroom for one last time. As she enters the newsroom, the men realize that she can never leave and be happy. Eventually, Hildy understands that as well.
