Description
Walter Burns is a fast-talking newspaperman who has been an editor for years. He actually met and fell in love with his wife while she was working as one of his reporters. Walter's love for the newspaper eventually led to Hildy leaving him, as she was tired of always coming second in his life.
When Hildy returns with her new love, Walter realizes how much he loves her and doesn't want to lose her. He becomes obsessed with the idea of drawing her away from her fiancy, Bruce. He uses her love for the newspaper to get her to stay in town just a little longer.
As Hildy works on the story, Walter has plenty of opportunity to see her separately from Bruce. He shows her what she's missing and reminds her how much she loves the newspaper and him. Finally, Walter...
