Description
Forrest Gump is an unusual young man. As a boy, he has a low IQ and wouldn't have been allowed in school had his mother not slept with the principal. He has braces on his legs, and the doctor does not expect him to ever be normal. Although there seems to be little hope for Forrest, his mother is always encouraging him to be whoever he wants to be.
Eventually, Forrest learns to run, opening up a whole new life to him when he gets a scholarship to college.
