Million Dollars
Bringing Up Baby is a hilarious look at David's quest for a million dollars for his museum and the woman, Susan, who gets in his way and pursues him. As they continue on their crazy escapades, they end up finding a new life and love together.
The million dollars in the film is symbolic of desire. David desires the money for his museum while Susan desires it for herself. She also desires David and uses the million dollars to help keep him in her grasp.
In the process of trying to get the million dollars, though, David and Susan realize that they desire something else even more: each other. When Susan finally arrives at the museum with the money, the two embrace passionately and decide to spend the rest of their lives together.
