Legalization of Euthanasia

Euthanasia is "mercy killing" for people who wish to die. There are many reasons why people want to die, for example: to not prolong their life and become what is commonly known as a `vegetable'. Another more common example is when the person in question is going through intolerable pain.
The word "Euthanasia" itself is derived from the Greek language, meaning: `a quiet and easy death'. This consigns to the actions in which a person's life is shortened or ended on purpose. Since euthanasia is killing to end suffering, it is still considered murder by many people.
Some doctors state that their job is to save lives, not to end them, whereas others argue that since medical science has developed so much, the patients' right to die must be taken into consideration as well as their right to live. They also believe that to pitch someone into a...
