Sleep Disorders
Summary: Sleep deprivation is caused by stress, lack of exercise, not allowing enough time to sleep, and from poor sleep hygiene. Lack of sufficient sleep appears to put adolescents at risk for cognitive, emotional difficulties, and with poor school performances. Loss of sleep can affect a student in many ways.
There are many different kinds of sleep disorders such as the obstructive sleep, apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, sleep paralysis, snoring, night terrors, night sweats, sleepwalking, and a delayed sleep phase syndrome, but today one of the main issues is with college students living through an unhealthy sleep deprivation.
