This wonderful place to visit is Missouri's legendary Meramec Caverns, which is located in Stanton, Missouri within the hills of the Meramec Valley. This cave is full of awe and jaw dropping beauty. It not only leaves you breathless, but it's folklore, history, and the legends of The Meramec Caverns will leave you stunned and amazed on what actually happened in those caverns. Missouri has more than 6,000 spirited caves and that explains why Missouri is not only the "Show Me State," but also the "Cave State." Although the Meramec Caverns have a lot to offer, the caverns are more widely known for Jesse James, its beauty, and its legends.
