Ocd: an Anxiety Disordcer
Thesis: OCD is an anxiety disorder. Having OCD is not a person's fault or the result of having an unstable personality, but many people question whether or not they have it. In the U.S. one in five adults has OCD, and two times that had OCD at one point in their life. There is not on single treatment that can cure OCD, but many are available or being made.
I. Features.
A. Obsessions
1. thoughts, images, impulses that keep occurring and feel out of control
- have uncomfortable feelings or make people think things must be done perfectly
- people tend to make their obsessions go away by doing compulsions
