Video Games V.s. Violence
Summary: "Blaming the media for the violence is as wrong as blaming the guns, and movies. It is not what people hear in music to see in movies or video games that cause the rage. It is also not the access to guns that causes peoples anger. Instead it is peoples inability to handle abandonment as an infant that causes the rage. The lacking of a parent can leave a person emotionally unstable. Lacking parental and community supports, they have no one to turn to at the end of a bad day, and there are always bad days for people."
I don't know about you but I love to play video games that are filled with violence and gore, such as the grand theft auto series. Does that mean I am going to turn into a murderer? No, I am against the belief that if you play video games that promote violence and murder and that it will cause you to be more violent. But I believe there are other factors that do cause violence.
The vast majority of kids who play video games will never use a real gun. So why do parents blame the video games and media for their violent children.
