What is Globalization? Globalization is the growing integration of economies and societies around the world, whether it is a country or a multi-national corporation. The process of Globalization centers itself on the idea that everyone inside the globe is affected by one another; this means that everyone is interlocked within the world we live. International Systems effect the way nation-states run. Globalization affects the culture and society that we live in which ultimately affects the individual.

Our group chose the LG Corporation for our case study because we wanted to show a global company that was not based outside of the United States and European market. We wanted a global company that provided goods and services to many people around the world, and we thought LG was a perfect candidate for this project.
