There are three major responsibilities that the government here in the US must hold to. These three are to provide protection for the people, control trade and economy, and to hold true to the fact that all men are created equal. These three ideals almost completely cover what is necessary for citizens to live richly. It is these three things that are necessary for a country to run smoothly. If the government, along with the citizens, went along with these guidelines, then any country undoubtedly run much smoother.
