The Constitution
People wrote the Constitution in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, provide for common defense, and secure the blessing of Liberty to ourselves and our future. After the Constitution was written and signed many laws, responsibilities, and freedoms were given to the United States. Some examples are included in the Amendments to the Constitution also know as the Bill of Rights. One of them is freedom of speech which allows you to stand up to anyone, anytime and say whatever you want to say. There is also the right of religion which allows you to believe in whatever religion you want to. But the most important one is the right to vote. This gave all women over the age of 18 the opportunity to take part in the voting process and to make a difference in the world. All of these things help make America a better and safer place to live.
The Constitution also plays a big roll in my life because it gives me more responsibilities and more freedoms. Having Freedom of Speech gives me the opportunity to speak up and say whatever I want to say. If we didn't have this freedom and people kept telling us what do to, I don't know what I would do because I hate getting bossed around. I hate having people telling us what religion we have to believe in or what school we have to go to depending on our color. So I'm very thankful for the Freedom of Speech. It also gives me responsibilities. The president makes the laws that we have to follow and that is the most important responsibility. This makes our country very safe so I am also thankful for that. I just want to make a difference in the world and that's why the Constitution plays a big roll in my life.
