Summary: The Weimar onstitution was a combination of French, German, American and British traditions and laws, basing itself of their strong democracy and economy. It was divided into four main areas.
The first draft of the Weimar Constitution was written up by a man named Hugo Preuss, a jurist, politician and he lectured at the University of Berlin on German Constitutional law. He was also Minister of the Interior until he resigned from Government at the end of June 1919 due to his opposition of the Treaty of Versailles.
