How Has the Language of Shakespeare's Time Evolved Over the Years?
Language is continuously changing and evolving due to the needs and demands of its society, constant change is credited due to the birth of new generations and with this comes new technologies, ideals and ultimately growth. Language changes over time and ironically Shakespeare is no stranger to this, he was a pioneer in the English language; constantly introducing new terms, concepts and similes into the language. Will the very craft he mastered condemn his work to history? Only time will tell.
Shakespeare's considerable contribution to the English language has left us today with many phrases coined from the master of the written word himself.
