Gateway
Focus Groups are important form companies who are interested in gaining information about the market. Focus groups are also a good way to get information needed about the produced in order for the company to adjust. When companies begin to have trouble with their marketing mix they look for a solution. Often times the solution can be found with focus groups. In this paper I will explain what elaborate one the benefits of a focus group along with their misconceptions. I will focus on Gateway and how they could use Focus groups to help them increase sells with a new product.
Focus groups are "used to gain insight into how consumers feel, why cretin opinions are held, plan and design of further research, plan and design of marketing mix elements." Gateway has just released a new laptop called the Convertible.
