Recently, the government has introduced to the public a new proposal to extend schooling hours to be equal to those of business hours. This act of adopting office hours has caused much concerns and debates on whether to enforce this proposal as law or not. It is believed that this new resolution will provide growing youngsters of Australia with a more advanced education.

If the government chooses to enforce this as law, many concerning parents will definitely agree to support this law. However, some parents may think that too much school will do their children harm. In this case, this is would not be relevant as the extended schooling hours are not class lesson hours. These extended hours that the government have enforced are more of supervised after hour activities for the children. In this extra time provided, students can do their homework or participate in sporting activities, which ever they prefer most. It is estimated that more than half of the population of students in Australia do not do their homework. With the help of these extended hours, these statistics will cease, benefiting the children.

Australia is well known multicultural country, this means that there are most likely to be families that find it difficult to speak another language they are not familiar with. Perhaps this is why some students choose to not complete their given homework. Extended hours can benefit the students to seek help from teachers supervising them after hours.
