The Fascist Government of Benito Mussolini
Benito Mussolini is the name that is automatically thought of when Fascism is mentioned. Society will question that and ask the reason, "why?" This is because Mussolini is said to be the founder of Fascism. Fascism was a form of government that exulted a nation and in Mussolini's case, it was Italy.
As Benito Mussolini grew up, he was a socialist, but that changed during World War One, when he articulated nationalistic feelings. He became very outspoken and obtained the support of many people who wanted to end liberalism, just as he did. This is how Fascism emerged as a "third way" in hopes to avoid a drastic imminent collapse of Italian liberalism. By this time, liberalism was thought to be feeble.
